Overview
ArCat Labs builds ArCat Bridge, a non-custodial routing layer for moving assets into Arc. We never take custody of your funds — every transfer is signed by your own wallet and settled directly by the underlying bridge provider (LI.FI, Gas.zip, or Circle's CCTP).
This policy covers what data ArCat Labs collects when you use arcatlabs.com and ArCat Bridge, and how it's used.
Information we collect
Wallet addresses: when you connect a wallet, your public address is read client-side to display balances and populate transfer forms. We do not collect private keys, seed phrases, or signing credentials — your wallet handles all signing locally.
Usage data: if analytics are enabled (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, or PostHog — see our README for current status), we may collect anonymized page views, device/browser type, and general geographic region to understand product usage. No analytics are wired up unless explicitly stated as live.
Error diagnostics: if error monitoring is enabled (e.g. Sentry), stack traces and request metadata may be captured to help us fix bugs. These are opt-in integrations and inactive by default.
Third-party providers
Bridging a transfer routes your request to third-party infrastructure — LI.FI, Gas.zip, Circle's CCTP contracts, and public RPC providers — each governed by their own privacy practices. ArCat Labs doesn't control how these providers handle data once a transfer leaves our Router.
Wallet connections are brokered through WalletConnect and RainbowKit, which may communicate with their own relay infrastructure to establish a session.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to remember your display preferences (currency format, table density) and your wallet connection state. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
Data retention
We don't operate user accounts in this phase of the product, so there's no persistent server-side profile tied to your wallet address beyond standard web server logs, which are retained only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention.
Your choices
You can disconnect your wallet at any time from the Settings page. Since ArCat Bridge doesn't require an account, disconnecting removes our client-side access to your address entirely.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page as ArCat Labs' product surface grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
